Mission Statement

With nearly 4 billion out of the 6 billion of the world’s population considering themselves to be Christians, and 100’s of billions of dollars each year spent in Christian bookstores, at Christian conventions, on faith practitioner salaries, on building and growth program budgets, revivals, seminars, and retreats the Christian Industry is one of the most financially profitable industries in existence today. Additionally, the industry boasts multi-media presentation and outreach capabilities, with multi-million dollar grants by government, scientific and private organizations. This high volume of funds being funneled into faith-based initiatives and research on spirituality clearly demonstrates a profound interest of people around the world to understand and experience a meaningful connection with God.

While millions are willing to make a faith commitment to experience a connection with God, few are actually living that experience. Faith participants become disaffected when faith becomes a divine enigma rather than a joyous experience. Most of the faith dollars are being spent on trying to understand faith crisis, trying to reinvent Christianity, and trying to invent new coping mechanisms. Many failed attempts at faith have psychological downsides and people, feeling isolated from God, begin to experience religious and spiritual problems. Programs, protocols and principles that are costing believers billions of dollars each year in the seemingly noble endeavor of “finding God,” “discovering your purpose and destiny” and “how to live a successful Christian life” are actually facilitating serious spiritual and religious problems.  So widespread and deep is the spiritual traumatization that 11 years ago the American Psychiatric Association recognized that failed attempts at faith had negative psychological impacts, and thus introduced a new diagnostic category called, “Religious or Spiritual Problem” (Code V62.89) in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual-Fourth Edition (APA, 1994).

Despite the investment of time, faith, and energy we see men and women of spirituality undereducated, and not receiving fundamental spiritual enabling skills that would assist them in reaching their spiritual goals. Year after year hundreds of thousands of new books and sermons testify to the believers’ condition of spiritual dryness. After 10, 20, 30, and 40 years of seeking a “breakthrough” in intimacy with God, or a “new dimension of faith,” spiritual goals are still elusive and Christians are still complaining of spiritual frustration. Hurting people feel hopeless and soon spiral into different emotional and mental disorders. Is there a connection between the recent glut of mood drugs into the marketplace, the breakdown of society, and the decline of satisfaction in faith based services?

To better understand faith crisis we need to understand how the geography of faith was remapped. The geographic domain of human life, viewed on thousands of levels, replaced the geography of faith, defining faith in terms such as the successful life, the relationship-centered life, the peaceful life, the healthy life, the family life, the purpose driven-life, the financially stable life, the service-centered life, the liberated life, the compassionate life, the sensational life, the goal-oriented life, the aesthetic life, and so forth.  When practitioners engage faith participants on the thousands of themes of life, faith becomes removed to the battlefield of the flesh and Christians struggle in repeated cycles of conviction, failure, guilt and despair in failing to reach these spiritual goals.

Faith Practitioners, faced with congregational failure in achieving spiritual goals, recall their programs, use a sliding scale to reset their expectation, and reformat and re-shift principles to produce a newly evolved set of predictions and engagements. Christians duly refocus their attention, activity, and money in hopes of this round of predictions and engagement of faith bringing the long sought after outcome.  Yet after many years of failure, believers from all religions are ready for a paradigm shift and are speaking openly about the need for sweeping changes in the church.

In response to faith crisis, Dr. vonAnderseck created a nomenclature of faith, standardizing the basic language of faith that accurately defines the dynamics of God’s Intelligent Design for Christ-Centered Spiritual Transformation (IDCCST). The Diagnostic Wellness & Choice Education program engineered by Dr. Eric vonAnderseck facilitates spiritual security and wellness through a full range faith-based training and recovery program that includes a comprehensive curriculum, hands-on pattern recognition lab work, and a dream workshop for personal wellness & development feedback.
