Dr. Eric vonAnderseck is a peerless apostolic/prophetic voice in these last days, giving the world and the Church a critical, groundbreaking analysis of how the Antichrist spirit has successfully crafted thousands of faith formulas that provide false promises, manipulative practices and paradoxical spiritual development models that set the soul up for bondage to failure, frustration, confusion and despair.
For the last 3 decades he has conducted independent, empirical research
into the root cause and effects of “Exigent Faith,” documenting its
psychological and spiritual impairment upon the soul through a 6 year
clinical study of cross cultural, multi-denominational, international
groups of worshippers. His conclusions are astounding and a literal last
chance wake-up call for Dr. vonAnderseck knows the roadblocks that people face in achieving a connection with God are real and he observed how this motivated the American Psychological Association (APA) to commission a new diagnostic category called, "Religious or Spiritual Problem" (Code V62.89 in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual-Fourth Edition APA, 1994). He further observed how this rising awareness in the mental health communities in turn gave rise to the emerging field of Science and Religion and the trend towards interfacing religious theories and mainstream scientific disciplines to understand Spiritual Transformation. Yet despite nearly 16 years of research and application within these emerging scientific disciplines, Dr. vonAnderseck continues to observe the symptoms and behaviors of Exigent Faith within the global Faith Community, confirming his own scientific findings that when the protocols of faith are not standardized to a cognitive baseline of faith education, faith goes into crisis and the soul does not experience rest nor lasting spiritual transformation. A Purple Heart recipient, Dr. vonAnderseck’s own conversion took place in 1971 while on the battlefield of the Vietnam War, and in 1977 he answered the call of God upon his life and began his 28 year longitudinal study into God’s design for spiritual transformation through Jesus Christ. He documented 9,000 of his own experiences, standardized the nomenclature of IDCCST™ (Intelligent Design for Christ-Centered Spiritual Transformation) and then turned his attention to program engineering, application and development of a spiritual diagnostic & wellness education system that is personal and individualized, bridging exclusivism with inclusivism, addressing a wide range of religious and spiritual problems, and giving cognitive ownership of spiritual transformation back to the individual faith participant. Dr. vonAnderseck has been successful in meeting his objectives and has turned his findings into solid organizations and education programs that can effect a positive individual and community outcome. Second 8th Week Ministries, Inc., a non-profit 501 (C)(3) corporation founded by Drs. Eric and Maria vonAnderseck in 2003, made significant humanitarian advancements in the 3 years, where the vonAndersecks have built an international infrastructure of staff trained to fulfill the philanthropic, scientific research and educational goals of developing a Global Culture of Community Wellness. To date the staff has donated over $5 million dollars in pro bono volunteerism in service to their communities and fellowmen with the faith-based education services the corporation provides through its Distance Learning University and its affiliate colleges. Dr. vonAnderseck’s realized goals are ushering in a new era of Christian leadership training and accountability, with new Christian education tools, empowering faith participants through Choice Education to understand and rate their own spiritual growth experiences. These benchmark changes are now facilitating a complete paradigm shift, a historically unprecedented liberation for Christianity from the centuries of merchandising and manipulations that come from paradoxical and shifting protocols. Knowing a centralized channel was imperative to implement his vision for standardized accreditation of Christian Education Dr. vonAnderseck founded the Second 8th Week International Accreditation Agency. Dr. Maria vonAnderseck, Eric's wife of 31 years, shares his humanitarian and philanthropic objectives and has worked with him and his international team of academic advisors to build a new accreditation system for Christian Education and Christian Educators, one that would deliver a comprehensive accountability process that assures high standards for Christian education by returning Spiritual Accountability Rating System (SARS) to a stable baseline and measuring program veracity in light of its power. Second 8th Week University, the international distance learning University founded by the vonAndersecks in 1999, stands as a beacon and pacesetter in Christian Education for Christ-Centered Spiritual Transformation. Understanding the need for global access, free education services to Christians, Eric and Maria founded the vonAnderseck Life Endowment Foundation, granting full scholarships for higher education degrees through the Second 8th Week University, giving individuals academic advancement opportunities and life skills training support to build their personal spiritual, mental and emotional wellness as well as to equip men and women of faith who desire accredited leadership positions to build a global culture of community wellness. Working closely with Dr. Eric vonAnderseck, Dr. M. vonAnderseck has turned his 28 years of research notes into an academic education program that is comprehensive and accessible to all of humanity without financial cost. Dr. M. vonAnderseck is the Chief Operations Officer of the non-profit organization she and her husband founded, and serves as full professor at Second 8th Week University where she earned her PhD degree in Theology for her work with Dr. E. vonAnderseck and for her research in Applied Sociology: Phenomenological Studies Associated with Spiritual Transformation. Her work with curriculum design and program development for contributed to the implementation of a responsible learning system, producing a groundbreaking program of disciplines in Liberal Arts that comprises the Undergraduate Choice Education program offered by Second 8th Week University. Understanding the necessity of hands-on training, she worked with her staff to develop one of a kind curricula, tutorials, labs and testing designed to prepare each individual with the knowledge to understand every aspect of faith and give them the ability to apply that knowledge to their day to day living, as well as foster the necessary critical thinking skills that makes faith practical, cognitive, and reality based. Her experienced leadership is outcome-focused with attention given to ensuring individual success as well as quality mentorship of Christian leaders who competently oversee the dissemination and training of Choice Education within the network of affiliate colleges. Understanding the need for veracity verification and collaborative research and exchange, in 2005 Dr. vonAnderseck launched the first of its kind, the “International Center for Quality of Life Research,” dedicated to publishing the empirical evidence of his six year and other on-going international clinical studies, and to open the door for joint multi-disciplinary investigations into Exigent Faith as well as to further the study of God’s Intelligent Design for Christ-Centered Spiritual Transformation™ (IDCCST™). ICQOLR is the premier institution in this new frontier in integrated scientific research into Spiritual Transformation, offering groundbreaking opportunities to scientifically document quantitative and qualitative measurements of spiritual development that negatively and positively affect quality of faith and quality of life. In an unprecedented breakthrough in diagnostics, Dr. vonAnderseck created the “vonAnderseck Spiritual Assessment Scale”, a scientific tool that set new industry standards for defining, investigating, and authenticating empirical evidences of spiritual transformation. Adjacent to this launching, is the initiation of the “Virtue Research Project”, Dr. vonAnderseck’s 7 year cross cultural investigation into the development of virtue in the soul. Already being populated with thousands of documentations resulting from the launching of his 7 year study is “The Varieties of IDCCST™ Spiritual Experiences” database, an international internet based interactive database Dr. vonAnderseck created where faith participants in his study can document the empirical evidences of IDCCST™ integrated-faith driven experiences. This renowned database provides rich, corroborative data his ICQOLR investigators and University educators resource in their college courses & workshops, auxiliary curriculum development, continued research and collaborative publishing projects. A 2005/2006 18 month international study on the state of Christian Leadership and faith education Dr. vonAnderseck’s research center conducted confirmed the results of his 28 year study: nearly three quarters of all participants reported systemic failure in both their ability to overcome sin, their ability to experience rewarding and lasting spiritual experiences with Christ, and a lack of ability to identify the causal factors endemic to their faith failure. An international board of governors, board of directors, research staff, and peer review board all oversee and facilitate this unique Christian research center. With an appreciation of the community and its desire to help their fellow citizens, Dr. vonAnderseck’s founded the Second 8th Week Philanthropic Network, an organization dedicated to network charities, raise awareness, identify opportunities, integrate resources, and synergize donors to facilitate hope and the transformation of lives through wellness education. As a personal contributor Dr. vonAnderseck freely provides his services to the Faith Community, donating his lectures, education services, and research work to the non-profit organization, the University and the ICQOLR. His life’s work, all of his lessons, commentaries, auxiliary training services and resources, instructor training courses, his daily broadcasting, including his 1000 volume lecture library are provided to students around the world free of charge. Dr. vonAnderseck’s lifetime work and philanthropy has earned him a Doctor of Divinity award from Second 8th Week™ University, where he serves as the Provost and Chief Educator and Lecturer. At Second 8th Week University he has developed and trained an international staff of professionals who volunteer thousands of hours each year assisting those with faith crisis. Drs Eric and Maria vonAnderseck have extensive publishing experience with the Second 8th Week University Press, where Dr. E. vonAnderseck has written over 100 curriculum lessons, published close to 100 articles and educated related booklets, four exhaustive commentaries and five other major book projects in progress as well as his 1000 volume audio lecture library. In addition, Dr. vonAnderseck has also launched the “Quality of Faith Counseling Center” where individuals seeking one on one counseling may do so. He has further launched “S8W™ Beginning of Sorrows-Signs of the End Times” Awareness & Preparation Seminars, where he provides on site Bible based, factual education and preparation counsel to the public to compassionately address the themes, global events, fears and realities of the end times and the coming catastrophes related to the Beginning of Sorrows, the Rapture, the Antichrist, the Mark of the Beast, the Great Tribulation and the end of this present world.
